Back to Reality

So I have been home for a couple of days now and what a shock to reality. When I was in Tenerife (the harbor of Los Gigantes, where we were staying is above) is was lovely and warm, no mention of the words Christmas anywhere and no one was talking about annoying X Factor. The moment I get home and WHOOSH, it practically hits you in the face.

Everywhere there are Christmas adverts, it's freezing cold and all anyone is talking about is Christmas, I swear when I got back from New York a year ago there weren't all these adverts on TV, I think I may actually start putting on my calendar when I see the first Christmas TV advert so I can prove the theory that they start earlier!

So later today it is back to work for me and I can't wait, it's been a while since I've been at work, what with flu and holiday it seems ages since I was there. Maybe seeing the Christmas lights in the city when I leave off work will help me get in the festive spirit....doubt it!
